New Year Creativity Challenge: Enroll in the First LEGO® Creative Academy

As the Lunar New Year approaches, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong is excited to announce the launch of the LEGO® Creativity Academy, recruiting LEGO® enthusiasts until 2 March 2025. Visitors can enjoy fun activities, enhance their building skills, and take on creative challenges. The ‘Mini Master Model Builder 2025’ competition is also open for applications, offering a chance to compete for the title and win a trip to Denmark with round-trip airfare.

Collect your activity passport upon arrival to track your progress. Complete three designated tasks to receive exclusive gifts[1]! Enjoy the vibrant Lunar New Year decorations, draw inspiration, and capture memorable moments.

Task 1) Colour Creation Skill: Creativity Unleash your creativity by building a LEGO® creation based on a specific topic and showcasing it on the exhibition cart to complete the challenge.	Task 2) DIY Photo Props Skill: Imagination Capture your memorable adventure by crafting LEGO® photo props! Snap pictures, share on social media with #LEGOCreativityAcademy to celebrate your achievement.	Task 3) Fun Fact Finder Skill: Memory Discover hidden LEGO® facts on-site, answer the questions on your activity passport, and share them with the attraction team members to conquer the challenge.

Limited Time Event I) Creative Workshop

Skill: Diverse creativity

Participants can freely utilise an array of colours and blocks to craft their patterns on a LEGO baseplate to unleash creativity. These individual creations will later integrate into a collective patchwork, melding diverse styles of LEGO® fan creations and showcasing a tapestry of creativity.

Recruiting for ‘Mini Master Model Builder 2025'

Test your building skills and become a Mini Master Model Builder! LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong presents the ‘Mini Master Model Builder 2025’ competition[2], providing participants with an opportunity to compete globally. All local contest participants will receive a certificate and an event badge.

The competition is divided into the following 4 phases:

Phase One) Submission of Entries	Event Dates: 16/01/2025 – 02/03/2025 To foster limitless creativity, the first round features an array of unrestricted creative themes. The top three participants showcasing outstanding performance will advance to the next phase.
Phase Two) Submission of Final Entries	Event Dates: 11/03/2025 – 10/04/2025 Participants will create a final piece and a video under 2 minutes explaining their design. The winner will be crowned ‘Mini Master Model Builder Hong Kong 2025’ and receive two Platinum Cards annual passes.
Phase Three) Competing for the title of ‘Global Mini Master Model Builder 2025’	Event Dates: 16/04/2025 – 26/05/2025 The ‘Mini Master Model Builder Hong Kong 2025’ will qualify for the international competition, competing against participants worldwide for the title of champion or runner-up of the ‘Global Mini Master Model Builder 2025’.
Phase Four) Exhibition of Works	Event Dates[3]: 10/2025 – 12/2025 The models of all finalists will be displayed at the LEGO® House for public viewing. Additionally, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong will offer two round-trip economy class tickets to Denmark, allowing participants to gain valuable insights from the creations of other contestants.

The ‘Creative Package for 2’ is now available. Guests can take on skill-testing challenges at a discounted rate and choose a Pick a Brick at our gift shop. Carry on the building fun at home with new skills and ideas acquired during the experience.
