Our Honorary Master Model Builder

Audrey Joins us as part of Make-A-Wish Australia’s World Wish Day

Make-A-Wish Australia® is excited to launch its month-long World Wish Day anniversary and has kicked off the celebrations by granting the wish of 10-year-old Audrey with the help of LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne.

Audrey, who was diagnosed with complex cardiac disease loves all things LEGO® , so it was no surprise to her family when she wished ‘To build a custom pink LEGO house and have a LEGO minifigure of me’ – including a matching zipper scar.

When it came to designing her LEGO dream house, Audrey insisted that it be her favourite colour – pink! She provided sketches and ideas to the LEGO Master Model Builders at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne, who spent months constructing Audrey’s LEGO dream house and makingher creative ideas a reality!

For her wish, Audrey travelled to Melbourne with her parents to receive her LEGO minifigure and meet with two LEGOLAND Master Model Builders who guided them through LEGOLAND’s attractions and unveiled her custom pink LEGO dream house, complete with 3 removable storeys, an engraved ‘Audrey’ plaque and of course a mermaid grotto.

Audrey also became an honorary LEGO Master Model Builder and was awarded an official Lego Master Model Builder badge!
